Award-Winning British Drama Broadchurch Debuts on Netflix

Netflix has added the critically acclaimed British crime drama Broadchurch to its streaming library, offering subscribers the chance to revisit or discover the series for the first time. The show, which originally aired on ITV in 2013, follows detectives Alec Hardy (David Tennant) and Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman) as they investigate the murder of an 11-year-old boy in a close-knit coastal community.

The series features a stellar ensemble cast, including Jodie Whittaker as the victim's mother, Beth Latimer, and Line of Duty star Vicky McClure as journalist Karen White. Olivia Colman won a BAFTA for her portrayal of DS Ellie Miller, while David Tennant's performance has also been widely praised.

All three series of Broadchurch are now available to stream on Netflix. The show has been described by viewers as "harrowing," "TV at its finest," and "an instant classic." One fan called it "beautiful and heartbreaking," while another said it is "as close to perfection as a television show can come."
