Ashley Roberts has revealed that Amanda Holden is the 'quickest poo-er in the land' during a recent episode of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa. The Pussycat Dolls singer, 44, shared the personal moment with campmates, leaving them in stitches.
Speaking on Heart Radio, Roberts explained that Holden, 55, would run off during a song link, return within moments, and resume broadcasting as if nothing had happened. 'She can poo quicker than anybody I’ve ever met in my life,' Roberts said.
Holden, who confronted Roberts on air, confirmed the story and expressed pride in her speedy bathroom habits. 'I’m proud of it,' she said, adding that she doesn't understand why anyone would want to 'hang around' in the bathroom. 'Just get out. I don’t even like sitting down - especially in public toilets. Fire and go!'
Holden quipped that she has 'the strongest thighs in showbiz' due to her technique. The Britain's Got Talent judge also said she would like a sash or crown to mark her achievement.
Meanwhile, Roberts reflected on her time on the show, naming Scarlett Moffatt as her 'bush sister' and closest ally. 'We just kept each other sane,' she said. Tensions rose in camp as David Haye threatened to steal food from the opposing team after losing a challenge.
I'm a Celebrity... South Africa airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV and ITVX, with the live final on April 24.
