Amanda Holden turned heads at the BAFTA Television Nominees Party, arriving in a stunning semi-sheer dress alongside her best friend Alan Carr. The 55-year-old star, nominated for Best Entertainment Performance alongside Carr for their show Amanda & Alan's Spanish Job, wore a black dress with a leather bodice and a sheer skirt adorned with darker fabric ribbons, showcasing her legs as she celebrated the evening.
Star-Studded Guest List
The event saw a host of other celebrities, including Rose Ayling-Ellis, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, and Judi Love. Rose Ayling-Ellis, the Strictly Come Dancing winner, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Reunion, while her drama Code of Silence is up for Best Drama Series. Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, a Gladiators star who competed on Strictly last year, arrived in a green silk shirt. Judi Love, a Loose Women panellist, posed on the red carpet in a black strapless dress; her show Last One Laughing is nominated for Best Entertainment Show.
Nominated Duo
Alan Carr wore a grey suit with a light blue shirt. While he is nominated for Entertainment Performance, Oliver Savell is nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy for playing a young Carr in Changing Ends. Carr's win on Celebrity Traitors is also nominated for this year's Memorable Moment, voted by the public, and the show is up for Best Reality Series.
Other Notable Nominees
Jodie Whittaker attended in a pink dress, nominated for Best Actress for her role in Toxic Town, playing Susan McIntyre, a Corby mother whose child was born with a limb difference due to toxic waste. Liz Carr arrived in a leopard print jacket; she presented an award at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards. Drama Adolescence leads the awards with 11 nominations, including one for Erin Doherty in Best Supporting Actress. Doherty is also nominated for Best Actress for her role in A Thousand Blows. Aimee Lou Wood is nominated twice: Best Actress for Film Club and Best Supporting Actress for The White Lotus season three.
The BAFTA Television Awards will take place on 10 May.
