All Her Fault: A Binge-Worthy Thriller Lands on NOW
A new, intensely gripping limited series has arrived on British screens, promising to be your next binge-watch obsession. All Her Fault, a chilling psychological thriller that delves into the nightmare of a child abduction, dropped as a complete boxset on the streaming service NOW on November 7.
This means UK viewers can devour the entire story in one sitting, following its release all at once on Peacock in the United States on November 6. The series has quickly captured audience attention with its rapid pace and tense narrative.
What is All Her Fault About?
The drama thrusts viewers into the life of Marissa Irvine, a mother whose world shatters when her young son, Milo, is abducted after school. The desperate hunt that ensues forms the core of the story, but as the episodes unfold, it becomes terrifyingly clear that the kidnapping is connected far closer to home than anyone could have imagined.
The programme is packed with numerous twists and turns, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats as the search for the missing schoolboy escalates.
Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team
All Her Fault boasts an impressive cast led by Sarah Snook, acclaimed for her role in Succession, who plays the distraught mother Marissa. Snook also serves as an executive producer on the project. She is joined by a stellar ensemble including Dakota Fanning (Man On Fire) as fellow mum Jenny Kaminski and Jake Lacy (Girls) as Marissa's husband, Peter Irvine.
The series is based on Andrea Mara's 2021 novel of the same title and has been adapted for television by Megan Gallagher. Interestingly, while the book was set on the outskirts of Dublin, the television adaptation relocates the action to Chicago, USA, though it was primarily filmed in Victoria, Australia.
Speaking about the provocative title, Sarah Snook offered insight, explaining that it "speaks to the designation of blame that keeps shifting throughout the series." She added, "The focus moves from character to character as we try to work out whose fault it is... and it often shifts back to the question of which woman has done something wrong to cause this in the first place."
With eight compelling episodes available immediately, All Her Fault is positioned to be the next major talking point in television drama, offering a suspenseful and thought-provoking exploration of blame, desperation, and the lengths a mother will go to for her child.
