Alex Hassell, known for playing Rupert Campbell-Black in Disney+'s Rivals, married actress Emma King in a private ceremony in January 2011. The couple met at drama school but did not start a relationship until years later, after King attended one of Hassell's theatre performances.
Hassell, 45, from Southend, and King have worked together on several occasions, including at the Royal Shakespeare Company and on an episode of Netflix's Cowboy Bebop. King has also appeared in The Vanishing and The Cry.
The actor previously revealed that his wife warned him about taking on too many nude roles, saying he should stop 'before I get a name for myself'. Hassell added that he is 'not particularly body shy'.
The couple prefer to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, but King shared a sweet tribute on their tenth wedding anniversary, posting photos from their big day and writing: 'Happy anniversary @alexanderhassell I never knew it was possible to feel this loved or to love this much.'
