Adam Thomas Wins I'm A Celeb After Live Finale Chaos

Adam Thomas has broken his silence after winning 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa' in a finale that descended into chaos. The 37-year-old actor took to Instagram on Saturday morning to share an emotional statement following his victory.

The finale on Friday night saw former footballer Jimmy Bullard confront Adam over an altercation during the show. Jimmy had walked away from the Rancid Run trial, effectively forfeiting Adam's place, leaving campmates stunned. Jimmy later labelled Adam as 'intimidating, aggressive and abusive', though host Ant McPartlin disagreed.

In his statement, Adam wrote: 'I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way... It was not always easy, there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself.' He added: 'This experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real.'

The finale also saw David Haye accuse the show of editing footage to make Adam look like a 'victim', prompting Sinitta and Gemma Collins to walk off set. Despite the chaos, Adam was crowned winner by public vote, with Sir Mo Farah in second place and Harry Redknapp in third.

Adam concluded his statement by thanking his wife for her support on her birthday, saying: 'Happy birthday to my Beautiful wife, you have stood by me when things were tough... I would not be who I am without you.'
