Adam Thomas reportedly stormed off the set of the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! All Stars final after being goaded by David Haye. The Waterloo Road star, 37, was crowned 'Ultimate Legend' but looked visibly miserable during the ceremony.
Tensions escalated when David, 45, heckled Adam from the audience, telling him he was not a 'worthy winner'. According to reports, Adam then threw his flower crown to the floor and shouted 'this is bullying' before walking off to his dressing room, where he was joined by his brothers and wife.
The incident followed a heated argument between Adam and fellow campmate Jimmy Bullard, 47, who had called 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' during a trial, putting both their places at risk. Jimmy later labelled Adam 'abusive, aggressive and intimidating'.
During the live final, Adam apologised to Jimmy, saying he took 'full responsibility' and that emotions had been 'running high'. However, David repeatedly interrupted, claiming the editing was 'making Adam the victim'.
Adam's wife Caroline described the events as a 'vile display', while Gemma Collins branded David and Jimmy's behaviour 'disgusting'. In a statement on Saturday, Adam said the experience had 'shown me my strength in ways I never imagined'.
ITV defended the show, stating it 'showed an accurate and fair representation of events'. Ant McPartlin confirmed some language used was 'un-broadcastable'.
