Meg Foster Returns to 'Masters of the Universe' as Motherboard in Netflix Animated Series

Meg Foster is set to reprise her connection to the 'Masters of the Universe' franchise, this time lending her voice to the Netflix animated series 'Masters of the Universe: Revolution'. Mattel announced on Monday that Foster will portray Motherboard, an ancient sorceress of technology and a nefarious A.I. sent to conquer Eternia by Hordak, the classic villain from the 1980s 'She-Ra' series.

Foster previously starred as Evil-Lyn in the 1987 live-action film 'Masters of the Universe', which featured Frank Langella as Skeletor. The new series continues the storyline from the 2021 animated show 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation', chronicling the ongoing rivalry between He-Man and Skeletor.

The voice cast for 'Revolution' includes Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Chris Wood as He-Man, Melissa Benoist as Teela, and William Shatner in an undisclosed role. Executive producers are Fred Soulie, Rob David, Christopher Keenan, Ted Biaselli, and Kevin Smith. The series is scheduled to launch on Netflix in 2024.
