The new adventure series 007: Road to a Million, now streaming on Prime Video, saw 18 contestants compete in James Bond-inspired challenges for a £1 million prize. However, in a surprising twist, none of the final three pairs managed to secure the jackpot.
The final episode took place in the Swiss Alps, where the remaining duos faced a challenge involving a briefcase rigged with explosives. The pairs had to shoot down the briefcase before it detonated to continue their journey. Unfortunately, all three pairs failed at this task, ending their chances of winning the million.
Kamara and Josh, who had already won £150,000, attempted the challenge but blew up the briefcase. James and Joey, also winners of £150,000, met the same fate. Beth and Jen, who had won the round and acquired an Aston Martin DB5, were eliminated after failing to scale a mountain, leaving with a duffle bag of money but not the grand prize.
The Controller hinted at future opportunities, stating: 'So, no one reached the million pound question. This time. Shame. I wonder if there is anyone out there who has what it takes to go all the way.'
