Netflix's highly anticipated drama series 'Vladimir' has finally arrived, with all eight episodes now available to stream. The show, based on Julia May Jonas's bestselling novel, premiered on Thursday, 5th March 2026, and has quickly climbed the platform's TV charts.
Each episode runs between 27 and 32 minutes, making the entire series approximately four hours long. This format is ideal for a single binge session or for spreading viewing over a couple of evenings.
The series stars Rachel Weisz as M, a middle-aged professor who becomes obsessed with a new colleague, Vladimir, played by Leo Woodall. Her fixation threatens her career and her marriage to John (John Slattery), who is dealing with his own scandal. Jessica Henwick also stars as Vladimir's wife, Cynthia.
While 'Vladimir' is currently an eight-part miniseries, Netflix has not ruled out a second season. The adaptation makes changes to the novel's ending, leaving it more ambiguous, which could allow for continuation. However, a follow-up series is considered unlikely as the source material does not have a sequel and the story reaches a natural conclusion.
