First on her list is Behind Her Eyes, a psychological thriller about a single mother entangled in a dangerous love triangle with her boss and his mysterious wife. The six-episode series, released in 2021, stars Tom Bateman, Simona Brown, Eve Hewson, and Robert Aramayo. It holds a 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Second is The Lincoln Lawyer, a US legal drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell. The show follows a defence attorney who runs his practice from his car and takes on high-stakes cases. Based on Michael Connelly's novels and created by David Kelley, it launched in 2022 and has four seasons on Netflix, with a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score. A fifth season is confirmed.
Third is The Night Agent, which Emily calls 'one of my faves'. It centres on a low-level FBI agent pulled into a conspiracy after answering an emergency phone at the White House. The series debuted in 2023 and has an 87% Rotten Tomatoes rating. All 10 episodes of the third season were released this week.
