The Rapture, a five-part psychological thriller based on Liz Jensen's bestselling novel, began airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this week. Shot entirely in Wales, the series features a star-studded cast led by Ruth Madeley and India Amarteifio.

The story follows Dr Gabrielle Fox, a psychologist returning to work after a car accident that killed her husband and left her a wheelchair user, and Bethany Krall, a teenager accused of murdering her mother who claims to foresee disasters. The series explores themes of climate change, corruption, and spiritual longing.
