It all comes down to this. After five seasons over seven years, The Boys is finally coming to an end next week, with its penultimate episode available to stream now on Prime Video.
Episode 7 is a big one, with plenty of twists and turns for longtime fans, while also setting up a final showdown with Homelander for the fate of the US, and indeed the world.
The finale will be shown in cinemas across the US hours ahead of its streaming release. UK viewers can watch the final episode on Wednesday 20 May on Prime Video at 8am BST.
The episode is written by Judalina Neira and David Reed. New episodes of The Boys season 5 are released weekly on Wednesdays at 8am BST in the UK, following a two-episode premiere.
The synopsis for the final season says: 'In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a "Freedom Camp". Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.'
