Prime Video's upcoming thriller series Steal, starring Sophie Turner, will premiere globally on Wednesday, January 21. The six-episode series will be released all at once, with each episode lasting an hour.
The show centres on Zara (Turner), an ordinary office worker at pension fund investment company Lochmill Capital, whose day turns chaotic when a group of robbers seize the building. DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) is called in to investigate the theft of billions of pounds, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, he must balance his own financial struggles while navigating hidden agendas.
Directed by Hettie Macdonald (Normal People) and Sam Miller (I May Destroy You), the series also stars Archie Madekwe as Zara's best friend Luke, and Anna Maxwell Martin in a detective role. Filming began in London in May 2024, and the first trailer was released earlier this month.
In the trailer, Zara's typical day at the office is interrupted by thieves wearing prosthetics who take hostages. Zara steps in to save lives, but after the gang escapes, she embarks on a dangerous mission to uncover the truth, while DCI Rhys is warned by her mother about her unstable nature.
