Taylor Swift's wedding dress designer kept secret from family

Taylor Swift's wedding dress designer, Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior, kept the custom haute couture gown so secret that even his own family did not see it until after the ceremony. The 36-year-old singer married Travis Kelce in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York, nearly three years after they first met.

Designer's father reveals secrecy

Rugby legend Willie Anderson, Jonathan's father, said the dress was so "hush-hush" that he only discovered his son was the designer on the day of the final fitting. Jonathan had signed a non-disclosure agreement. Willie told the Sunday Independent: "It was completely hush-hush, but he rang to say he was going to do the fitting and we just couldn't believe it. We're both very emotional now, I must say, and we're waiting for it now to see it. Hopefully, it'll come up on Instagram. It's an unbelievable surprise. We've become 'Swifties' overnight."

Details of the wedding attire

Swift's spokesperson confirmed: "The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity." Dior issued a statement saying the look was "created in Dior's ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris" by Anderson "in close collaboration with the couple." Both Swift and Kelce wore Christian Louboutin shoes, and Swift donned Cartier jewellery. Swift did not have bridesmaids; her brother Austin Swift acted as her man of honour, while Kelce's best man was his older brother, NFL veteran Jason Kelce.
