The gritty police drama 'Southland', which earned a rare 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its final two seasons, has landed on Netflix. The show, which originally aired from 2009 to 2013, offers a raw and authentic look at the lives of Los Angeles Police Department officers.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer Ann Biderman, known for her work on 'NYPD Blue', and executive produced by 'ER' veterans Christopher Chulack and John Wells, the series stars Michael Cudlitz as Officer John Cooper and Ben McKenzie as rookie Officer Ben Sherman. The cast also includes Regina King as Detective Lydia Adams and Shawn Hatosy as Officer Sammy Bryant.
