Netflix is set to remove the critically acclaimed true crime drama 'See No Evil: The Moors Murders' from its platform on Thursday, March 26. The three-part docudrama, originally broadcast on ITV in 2006, recounts the harrowing story of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, known as the Moors Murders.
The series focuses on the perspective of Hindley's sister, Maureen Smith, and her husband David, who assisted the police in uncovering the truth. It won the BAFTA for Best Drama Serial in 2007 and has been praised by viewers as a 'chilling chronicle of evil' and a 'haunting' production.
The cast includes Joanne Froggatt as Maureen Smith, Matthew McNulty as David Smith, Maxine Peake as Myra Hindley, and Sean Harris as Ian Brady. The drama has left many viewers in tears, with one IMDb user stating, 'It broke my heart and will stay with me for a long time.'
Netflix subscribers have until March 26 to watch the series before it is removed from the streaming service.
