The Duchess of Edinburgh made a striking appearance on Saturday night as she joined senior members of the Royal Family for the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
The 61-year-old royal wore a glittering dark navy dress, paired with classic black pumps and a black shawl for the November evening. Her look was completed with a new gold choker necklace and matching glittering earrings, along with her signature long bob styled sleek and straight.
Royals Unite for the Occasion
Sophie was joined by King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, who made a joint appearance. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Anne, and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence were also in attendance.
The royals gathered to honour the service and sacrifice of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces. This year's Remembrance marks significant anniversaries of operations in Bosnia, the end of the Gulf War, and the Iraq War, with special tribute paid to veterans of those conflicts.
Theme of 'Places of Remembrance'
The Festival's theme this year is 'Places of Remembrance,' exploring through performances and tributes how physical places associated with those lost can hold enduring personal meaning for families.
Tomorrow, the Royal Family will gather at the Cenotaph in Whitehall for the Remembrance Sunday service, leading the nation in a two-minute silence.
