Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling Marry in Intimate Cotswolds Ceremony

Peter Phillips, the King's nephew and Princess Anne's only son, has married NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a low-key ceremony at All Saints Church in the Cotswolds village of Kemble, near Gatcombe Park estate. The wedding, attended by senior royals including King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, marks the first major royal wedding since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.

The bride's bouquet featured English sweet peas, a popular summer flower known for its delicate petals and fragrance, according to a source. Floral decorations for the church were provided by Flowervision Bristol and Stokesay Flowers, using sustainably grown garden roses from Shropshire.

The intimate affair contrasts with Peter's first wedding at St George's Chapel in Windsor. The late Queen, with whom Peter shared a close bond as her eldest grandchild, was notably absent from the celebrations.
