King Charles and Queen Camilla have chosen their 20th wedding anniversary portrait for this year's official Christmas card. The photograph, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, shows the couple standing side by side at Villa Wolkonsky, the British ambassador's residence in Rome, during their state visit to Italy earlier this year.
In the image, Camilla wears a white and beige coat dress by Anna Valentine and a lily of the valley brooch, while the king is dressed in a blue pinstripe suit with a grey tie and silk handkerchief. The card features a dark red border around the photo, with the message 'Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year' printed opposite.
The couple marked their 20th wedding anniversary on 9 April 2025 while on royal duty in Italy, attending a grand banquet that evening. They send hundreds of Christmas cards annually to family, friends, world leaders, diplomats, charities and organisations.
King Charles will host the wider royal family on Christmas Day at Sandringham in Norfolk, as is tradition. The Prince of Wales previously revealed he would spend the day with 45 family members. Notably absent from the guest list is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, following Andrew's removal from royal duties over his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The royal family typically walks to church on Christmas morning and enjoys a traditional turkey roast before watching the King's Christmas broadcast.
