Queen Elizabeth's Blunt Eight-Word Warning to Photographer at Harry and Meghan's Wedding

Queen Elizabeth II issued a blunt eight-word warning to a photographer on the day of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in 2018, according to a new report. The photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, who had previously taken the couple's engagement portraits, recalled the moment on social media.

Lubomirski said the photo session was running behind schedule, and he informed the late Queen, apologising for the delay. 'I'm terribly sorry your Majesty, we're going to be about five minutes,' he told her. The Queen responded with a simple warning: 'It's not me you need to worry about.' As she spoke, she nodded towards her husband, Prince Philip, who was known to be impatient.

Prince Harry had also advised Lubomirski to 'be quick' because his grandparents had had many photographs taken in their lives and could both become impatient. Harry reportedly said: 'They've taken many pictures in their life, it's not their 'fun' part. So if you don't get it quickly, they're going to just move out.'

Despite the initial tension, the portraits went smoothly, resulting in a family photograph that will remind Harry and Meghan of their wedding day happiness. The couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on Monday.
