Princess Eugenie enjoys Kenya beach holiday with friends, without husband

Princess Eugenie has been pictured enjoying a luxury beach getaway to Kenya with pals, leaving her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two young sons at home. The 33-year-old royal, who is 11th in line to the throne, was spotted on Lamu Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, known for its tranquil beaches.

Photos shared on Instagram by German influencer Caroline Daur show the princess relaxing with friends, including close friend Julia de Boinville. The group were seen enjoying a meal and drinks on a boat, with the island offering watersports such as snorkelling and scuba diving.

Eugenie and Jack, who married in October 2018, are parents to August, two, and baby Ernest, born in May this year. The couple split their time between Windsor and Portugal due to Jack's business interests abroad.

Despite the trip, Eugenie has not posted about it on her own Instagram account. However, last Friday she shared an emotional post marking the anniversary of the death of her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, describing her as 'a life of service, love and dedication'.
