Princess Eugenie, who is expecting her third child any day now, previously revealed that she has developed a specific phobia since becoming a mother for the first time in 2021.
Fear of flying since motherhood
Speaking at the World Economic Forum event in Davos in January 2023, when she was around five months pregnant with her second son Ernest, Eugenie said: 'But I think also as a mother, you all of a sudden, totally you change, your hormones change, everything changes.' Revealing her 'sudden' phobia, she added: 'Like now I'm scared of flying and things like that and I would never be before.'
Expanding family
The 36-year-old, who married Jack Brooksbank in 2018, welcomed their first son, August, in February 2021, and their second son, Ernest, in May 2023. The couple announced they are expecting their third child earlier this year, with Buckingham Palace releasing a statement saying their two sons were 'excited' about becoming big brothers. The baby, who will be a fifth grandchild for Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is expected to join the family this summer.

Eugenie also took to Instagram to share the news of her pregnancy, alongside a picture of her sons holding her scan picture. The caption read: 'Baby Brooksbank due 2026!' Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, husband of Eugenie's sister Princess Beatrice, wrote three red hearts in the comment section. At Davos, Eugenie also spoke about her son August, saying: 'Every decision we now make has to be for August, what he's going to be able to look at and do and how he's going to live his life.'
