Princess Andre has spoken out after her parents Katie Price and Peter Andre finally ended their long-running feud. The 18-year-old described the truce as a 'relief' and expressed happiness that her parents have agreed to move forward on good terms.
In an interview with The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Princess said: 'I feel really happy that they've both agreed to move forward on good terms. For myself and Junior, it's nice to know that life will be easier for everybody.' She added that it will be a relief not to have people asking about her parents' issues and putting her and her brother in the middle.
The former couple, who were married for four years until their 2009 split, had been engaged in a bitter war of words for over a decade. However, earlier this month they issued a joint statement announcing they had signed a legal contract agreeing not to speak negatively about each other going forward.
Katie Price shared the statement on Instagram, which was later screenshotted and shared by Peter. It read: 'Katie Price and Peter Andre have decided to close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect. We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children.'
Princess, who was a small child when her parents split, said the agreement is a good way to clear up rumours. She added: 'Not everything people see online is true, so hopefully this is a good way to clear up the rumours.' The teenager has also denied any feud with her mother, stating that her reality show is about her, not her parents.
