Prince William is set to make a grand appearance at Royal Ascot today for Day 2 of the prestigious Berkshire event. The Prince of Wales will present trophies to the winners, including the trophy for the Prince of Wales's Stakes.
Royal Attendance
Joining him is Lady Sarah Chatto, the only daughter of the late Princess Margaret, who will present trophies for The Queen's Vase. Lady Sarah shares a close bond with the royal family.
It remains unclear whether the Princess of Wales will attend today's engagements. The royal carriage procession will be announced shortly. Catherine last attended the racecourse in 2023.
Opening Day Recap
The King and Queen saw their racing hopes dashed on the opening day when their horse, Reaching High, lost in the Ascot Stakes. The victorious horse was Kizlyar at 25-1 odds, cheered on by thousands of racegoers.
