Prince Harry recently made an unannounced solo trip to New York City for a brief series of meetings. The Duke of Sussex was seen at a Manhattan hotel earlier this week.
According to People magazine, the visit was for private business purposes. A spokesperson for the Duke confirmed that he has since returned to London to attend an event for his eco-travel initiative, Travalyst.
Upcoming Joint Engagement
The brief US visit took place just days before a scheduled joint overseas engagement for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. On Tuesday, November 10, Harry and Meghan are set to travel to Brussels to deliver keynote speeches at the European Parliament.
The couple will appear alongside the Parliament's President, Roberta Metsola, for the "Lost Screen Memorial" event.
First Joint Trip Since Relocation
This upcoming visit to the Belgian capital will mark Harry and Meghan's first joint official overseas trip since they relocated to the UK in August. The couple, along with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, moved back to Britain over the summer, six years after stepping back from their roles as senior working royals and moving to California.
Remembrance Events
Meanwhile, tonight, the King and Queen and members of the Royal Family are expected to attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. On Remembrance Sunday, the royals are also tipped to attend the Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph.
