Prince Harry has revealed the most “British thing” he has done with his family since moving back to the UK last month. The Duke of Sussex, who spent the last six years living in California, relocated back to Britain in August.
In one of his first solo appearances since returning, at the 2026 Wellchild Awards, the duke spoke to Hello! about what moving back home has been like. Asked what the most British thing he has done since his return was, he said: “Gone for a walk. Lots of walks. Isn't that the most British thing?”
Children enjoying Marmite on crumpets
Harry also revealed that his children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have been enjoying eating Marmite on crumpets. He added that the family are “happy” to be back on British soil.
The move back has been surrounded by drama, mainly over security matters and a book by his uncle Earl Charles Spencer. Despite this, the duke and his wife Meghan Markle do not appear to have let it dampen their return with their children.
Family settling into UK life
While Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have yet to make any official public appearances, they have been getting out and about. The Duchess of Sussex has shared clips on Instagram of the family enjoying the British countryside, with one video showing the children fishing with Prince Harry and another showing Lilibet cycling along a county path with her brother running alongside her.
The children are also believed to have now settled into a UK school after having to leave their first one following security concerns over the busy school run route.
