Prince Harry's relationship with his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, has reportedly deteriorated, with an insider revealing they are "not even in touch".
Once close cousins
The three royals grew up together and were once close, but their bond has faced strain in recent years. Harry's allegations against The Firm and the princesses' father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's, links to Jeffrey Epstein have created tension. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, but the ex-royal was stripped of his titles and forced to leave his home at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Beatrice and Eugenie have kept a low profile recently, amid reports they are trying to maintain ties to the Royal Family after their parents became disgraced royals.
Shift in relationship
According to Hello! Magazine, an inside source claimed the cousins are "not even in touch". Eugenie had served as an important link between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family for years after Harry and Meghan quit their royal roles. She appeared in their 2022 Netflix docuseries and was known to regularly visit them in California.
However, there has reportedly been a shift. The source told Hello! Magazine: "Harry and Meghan are not so close to Beatrice and Eugenie anymore, and Harry did not see Eugenie over the summer in Portugal. Harry has very few friends left from before. They're going to have to make some serious social inroads and gatherings to get back in the fold."
Speaking of the daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, they added: "Beatrice and Eugenie are not even in touch - and Eugenie was once so close to him." While some reports suggest Princess Beatrice has visited Meghan and Harry at their new Cotswolds home, this has not been officially confirmed.
Portugal trip
Harry and Meghan reportedly enjoyed a family holiday in Portugal in July, where they are thought to have a home. Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also have a home there, but there was no public indication that the trip had been arranged around seeing Eugenie. At the time, Eugenie was heavily pregnant and would welcome her third child - her first daughter - in Lisbon.
