Ronnie O'Sullivan and his actress wife Laila Rouass have announced the creation of a joint Instagram account in an X-rated post. The snooker legend married the former EastEnders star in June 2025 after a long on-and-off relationship dating back to 2012.
The couple began dating over a decade ago and got engaged in 2013. However, their most recent split came in September 2024, before reconciling in the following January.
Couple launches 'TheOSullivans' account
The Rocket officially tied the knot last year in a low-key ceremony at St George's Town Hall in Shadwell, East London, where Rouass grew up. The seven-time world snooker champion, 50, and Rouass, 55, recently launched a joint Instagram account under the username 'TheOSullivans', which they hope will give fans a glimpse into his life away from snooker. The pair uploaded a snap of the two of them together for the first post.
They captioned it: “Hi. Welcome. This is us. Unfiltered, uncouth, unhinged and unplanned. No inspirational quotes from us. No feigned positivity. No more f***s to give. Follow along if it sounds like your kind of thing. Laila & Ronnie.”
Fans flock to new account
World No.14 O'Sullivan also called for his fans to follow the new account by taking to Instagram Stories. He teased what can be expected on the new social media account, writing: “It's all unplanned and unedited. All we do is eat tbh. See you there.”
The account has already racked up close to 6,000 followers. Their stories so far have included a look into their stay in China, where O'Sullivan has been for five weeks playing in various snooker tournaments. Another story uploaded on the account showed O'Sullivan singing along to Phil Collins' 'I Don't Care Anymore'.
Mural reaction and upcoming fixtures
On Friday, Rouass responded to the uproar surrounding the controversial new mural of the snooker icon in Sheffield. Her caption read: “That time Ronnie auditioned for Thriller. On a serious note… it's overwhelming but judgement will be reserved until it's seen.”
O'Sullivan crashed out of the Wuhan Open on Friday after suffering a 6-3 defeat to Chang Bingyu. Afterwards, he revealed plans to take a break with "family and friends" back in Ireland. He has pulled out of next week's British Open, having been due to play Mateusz Baranowski on Monday, August 31. O'Sullivan is expected to return to action at the Shenzhen Open in China, when he faces Jiang Jun in the last 64 on Monday, September 28.
