A new biography promising never-before-told revelations about the Prince and Princess of Wales is set for release next month, offering an intimate portrait of the future King and Queen.

William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story is authored by Russell Myers, the Mirror's Royal Editor and royal editor for ITV's Lorraine. This marks the first joint biography of the couple in over a decade. The book draws on exclusive access to numerous palace insiders, promising to move beyond the public spectacle.
It will trace the couple's journey from their earliest meeting at the University of St Andrews right through to the present day. The narrative will examine pivotal moments including the intense media scrutiny they have faced, the controversies surrounding their 2022 Caribbean tour, and the profound personal challenge of Catherine's shock cancer diagnosis, which coincided with that of King Charles III.
Seismic Revelations and a Human Story
The biography pledges to provide fresh context on the major events that have defined the Wales's recent years. This includes the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the formation of the so-called 'Cambridge way' of working, and the national period of mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Russell Myers stated: "I've spent almost a decade following The Prince and Princess of Wales as part of the royal pack and have always believed there's so much more to the couple than the spectacle reveals." He expressed gratitude for the platform to explore the unseen, resulting in what he calls a "truly intimate portrait" that delivers seismic revelations about them as a couple.
The book highlights their resilience and dedication, presenting a personal perspective on how shared experiences have shaped their vision for a modern monarchy. It aims to show how they are working to ensure the institution's continuation during a period of extreme change and turmoil.
