Mel B Reveals Top Spice Girls Memories
Mel B, 51, has shared her top three Spice Girls moments, torn between meeting Nelson Mandela, performing at Wembley, and spending time with Prince William, 44, and Prince Harry, 41. She told The Telegraph: "Either meeting Nelson Mandela, playing Wembley or spending a day with Harry and William."
Victoria Beckham's Intentional Dress Design
Mel B hinted that Victoria Beckham, 52, "knew exactly what she was doing" when designing her dress for the 2022 MBE ceremony. Victoria, who built a fashion empire after the Spice Girls, created a striking red gown with a daring cut-out. Mel said: "The last time I saw Prince William it was when he was pinning my MBE to my chest in a dress Victoria had made for me, which was just a little bit revealing in exactly the place he pinned the medal to. Victoria knew exactly what she was doing when she designed it for me."
Day with the Princes
Mel recalled a day with young William and Harry, making peanut butter and jam sandwiches at Kensington Palace. She said: "They were such cute kids – I can't remember whether it was William or Harry who had a crush on Emma, but they were so polite and charming and gorgeous."
MBE Ceremony Details
After receiving her MBE for services to charitable causes and vulnerable women, Mel told PA: "He did say, 'I can't believe I'm giving you one of these – I'm delighted', and I said, 'Aw thank you' and we had a giggle." William also commended her work.
