The hotel is just 1.5 miles from the offices of her talent agency, William Morris Endeavour (WME), making it a convenient base for meetings. In contrast, her £11 million home in Montecito is 85 miles away, a journey of at least 90 minutes without traffic.
Commentator Kinsey Schofield told GB News in July: 'One of the rumours is that Meghan has set up shop in a hotel suite across from her agency and that she has her eyes set on bigger opportunities.' A source previously told Closer that Meghan was conducting work meetings at the hotel.
The Beverly Hills Hotel is also close to major production companies: Netflix's office is 6 miles away, and Disney's headquarters is 10 miles away. This proximity could aid her Hollywood career, which has faced challenges in recent months.
In the selfie, Meghan appeared alone; when asked if Prince Harry was with her, Jen Su replied: 'She was by herself.' The hotel stay suggests Meghan is prioritising her professional commitments over the comfort of her family home.
