Meghan's absence questioned
While Prince Harry has been seen at public events as he establishes a working life in Britain, Meghan has not appeared in any official or professional capacity since their return from California. She has, however, shared photos and videos on Instagram, offering glimpses into their life in the Cotswolds.
Commentator Mark Dolan and American royal reporter Paula Froelich discussed the Sussexes' situation. When Dolan raised Meghan's lack of public appearances, Froelich suggested: "She's too scared. She's hiding at home."
Critics weigh in on her social media activity
Dolan noted that while the couple's location is not officially revealed, Meghan's Instagram posts effectively "doxing herself." He asked: "What's she hiding from?" Froelich answered: "I think she's trying to prove a point that she's just too scared to come out."
Later in the conversation, Dolan asked why the couple are not appearing together publicly. Froelich said they are reportedly separating their professional and personal lives, which she finds understandable. She added that it "serves" Meghan and helps prove her point that "it's just too dangerous for her to go out."
Friend says Meghan settling in well
Despite the criticism, one of Meghan's close friends has suggested the couple are settling into life in England. Kelly McKee Zajfen, who appeared in Meghan's Netflix series With Love, Meghan, shared photographs on Instagram of time spent with the duchess.
