Lady Marina Windsor has revealed the location of her honeymoon, sharing new pictures from the romantic getaway just weeks after her lavish wedding in England. The Duke of Kent's granddaughter married Nico Macauley in a private ceremony at a country estate in Yorkshire in June 2026.
Wedding and Honeymoon Details
The main wedding ceremony took place at All Saints Church, Hovingham, while the reception was hosted at the family home of Lady Marina's grandmother, the late Duchess of Kent, in North Yorkshire. On Thursday, Lady Marina took to her official Instagram account to post a series of pictures from her honeymoon in Sardinia and Corsica.
The newlyweds were seen soaking up the Mediterranean sun, chilling by the beach, and taking long walks. Marina captioned the post: “Luna Di Miele under the Strawberry Moon! Sparkling seas and happy hearts in Sardinia and Corsica.”
Photos from the Getaway
In the pictures, the 33-year-old posed with her husband in a red and white dress out in the sun, while another snap showed them swimming in the sea. The newlyweds also enjoyed an intimate evening meal, played card games, and relaxed on the beach.
Wedding Guests and Background
Guests at Lady Marina’s wedding included Princess Alexandra's granddaughter, Flora Vesterberg née Ogilvy, and her husband, Timothy, as well as Lady Gabriella Windsor. Lady Marina was born at the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge on September 30, 1992, with the full name Lady Marina Charlotte Alexandra Katharine Helen Windsor.
Until 2008, Lady Marina was 25th in line to the throne, but she forfeited her place to be confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church, along with her elder brother. Their younger sister, Lady Amelia, has not converted and remains in line to the throne.
