Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur Secretly Marry on Wimbledon Final Day

Tennis stars Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur secretly married in an intimate church ceremony on the final day of Wimbledon, just days after competing at the prestigious British tournament. The former British number one tied the knot with her long-time partner, the current Australian number one singles player, at a church in a Leicestershire village close to where Boulter grew up, according to the Daily Mail.

Secret Ceremony Details

The wedding was attended only by a small congregation of family, with a wedding breakfast at a local pub afterwards. Boulter stunned in a long, bateau-necked white gown, arriving unconventionally together in a black Porsche Carrera driven by De Minaur, who wore a black tuxedo. At the same time, play was underway in the men's singles final between Italy's Jannik Sinner and Germany's Alexander Zverev.

Just days before the nuptials, De Minaur had competed in the Round of 16 at Wimbledon but lost to world number nine Flavio Cobolli. Boulter also faced defeat in a shock first-round elimination against 18-year-old Tyra Caterina Grant.

Family and Future Celebrations

It was understood that Boulter's grandfather, who has been receiving hospital care, was able to attend the ceremony. A source told the Mail that Boulter is "exceptionally close with him" and was "delighted" to spend time with him as he was assisted into the church. The pair were married by a female vicar at the top-secret ceremony. A party for wider friends, family, and tennis royalty is expected to take place later this week.

Both Boulter and De Minaur have won Grand Slam titles in their careers and have often been spotted in the crowds of one another's matches during their six-year romance. They got engaged at the end of 2024, as revealed by Boulter in an engagement post on Instagram.
