Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd married his fiancée Hanni Treweek in a romantic ceremony at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday. The 37-year-old actor, known for playing David Platt, and his new wife, 36, shared their first kiss as a married couple before heading to their reception.
Jack arrived in a classic red Mustang convertible with his son Reuben, whom he shares with ex Lauren Shippey. He wore a cream suit jacket with a black waistcoat, trousers and bow tie. Hanni arrived 12 minutes late, pausing for photos and a final makeup check before entering the venue.
Among the guests were Coronation Street stars Lucy Fallon, Tina O'Brien, Julia Goulding, Alan Halsall, and Andy Whyment, who performed a rendition of 'Mustang Sally'. Jack's close pals Colson Smith and Ben Price served as groomsmen, while his on-screen mother Helen Worth attended with her husband.
After the ceremony, guests moved to the afterparty at Hallé St Peter's, with some stumbling out in the early hours. Jack and Hanni made a quiet exit via the backdoor. Hanni later shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, writing: 'Introducing Mr and Mrs Shepherd. Words cannot describe how beautiful yesterday was.'
Fresh from his own wedding, Jack is set to appear in scenes for an upcoming Corrie wedding between Dev Alahan and Bernie Winter, which promises chaos and a medical emergency.
