The Prince and Princess of Wales led the glamorous arrivals at Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling's wedding in the Cotswolds on 6 June. The couple were seen sharing lingering glances, coy smiles and fleeting hand touches, marking a rare display of public affection that has become more relaxed since the pandemic.
The united appearance was particularly poignant as Prince William had missed his cousin's first wedding in 2008. Peter Phillips was the first of the late Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren to marry, but William was in Kenya attending the wedding of his ex-girlfriend's brother, leaving Kate to attend alone.
For the second wedding at All Saints Church in Kemble, the Waleses left their three children at home. They joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Peter's children from his first marriage, among others.
Images captured the couple arriving together, with William guiding Kate by the small of her back. Later, as they departed in rainy weather, William held an umbrella over Kate's head, and the pair were seen laughing as they navigated the wind and crowds.
