Emily Atack and Alistair Garner have tied the knot for the second time in weeks, exchanging vows in the courtyard of a 16th century church in Mojacar, Spain. The Inbetweeners actress, 36, and her husband, 40, were joined by almost 200 guests for the ceremony in the hilltop location Emily once described as her "favourite place on earth".
A second wedding in Spain
Emily wore an off-the-shoulder gown with a veil and long train, which was held on occasion by her chief bridesmaid. She walked down the aisle with her father, pop-star Keith Atack, who was seen in a smart suit and flip flops. She arrived in a vintage red Cadillac convertible.
Images from the day showed the table plans, with names in different languages. The top table, where Emily sat, read Ahava, which means "love" in Hebrew. Celebrity pals such as Leigh Francis, also known as Keith Lemon, were seated at the Agapi table. Other table names included Gugma, Cinta, Habibi and Sarang.
Details of the celebration
Crates of Cava were seen arriving before the proceedings, and floral displays were set up in the grounds. Wicker place mats with floral designs were laid out, with the backdrop showing the venue's beauty.
The Daily Mail reports that the registrar at the ceremony told guests: "I expect some of you in here are experiencing some Deja vu", referring to Emily's first wedding three weeks earlier, which took place in Bedfordshire.
Previous wedding and location significance
Last month, Emily and Alistair quietly married in a church in the UK, followed by a garden party at their Bedfordshire mansion. For that occasion, Emily wore an ivory plunge dress from Evelie with long sleeves, a veil and lace shoes by Charlotte Mills.
She explained her fashion choice, saying: "Since Rivals, in terms of fashion, I tend to go quite big now generally." The latest ceremony took place in Costa de Almería, southern Spain, where her musician dad Keith once had a holiday home. Emily spent summers there as a child, and previously said: "It's our favourite place on Earth and we still go every single year. I loved my family holidays there growing up."
