Dianne Buswell has received an outpouring of support from her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars after sharing a candid admission about her body months after giving birth.
The professional dancer has returned to the famous ballroom for her 10th series of the BBC One show, having first joined in 2017. On Saturday night (September 26), Strictly aired its first live show of the year, following the pre-recorded launch episode, during which it was revealed that Dianne had been paired with radio and TV host Will Best for the 2026 series.
Opening week one with Will Best
The pair opened week one of the competition, as all 15 new celebrities and their professional partners performed a full routine in front of judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke for the first time.
Big Brother presenter Will and Dianne danced a samba to Rock DJ by Robbie Williams, scoring 18 points out of a possible 40. With no public vote or elimination in the first week, Will and Dianne have safely progressed to week two, which will be the show's annual Movie Week special.
Celebrating her body after birth
Amid returning to the training room, Dianne, who welcomed her first child with partner Joe Sugg in March, has been celebrating her body. In an Instagram video, the Australian star could be seen while pregnant with the on-screen message: "Strong enough to bear the children..." before sharing clips of her performance with Will and adding: "Then get back to business."
She captioned the post: "Omg I miss My baby bump [heart and face holding back tears emojis]. I also want to say to all mummas no matter what you do after giving birth you are all super woman there’s no right or wrong just your way don’t let any body make you feel otherwise [heart emoji]. All mummas are amazing."

Her co-stars were quick to reply. Amy Dowden said: "Your a super star and a super mum!" Vito Coppola commented: "Honestly I was thinking watching on iPlayer Gorji that you are glowing!!! Come on gorjiii let’s go." Nancy Xu wrote: "D D!!!!YOU ARE INCREDIBLE."
Fans also responded, with one asking: "Does your body feel or move differently when you dance after having your baby?" Dianne replied: "Weirdly, I feel more confident in my body than ever before! I think because I’m so proud of what it was able and still is able to achieve."
