Coronation Street actor Kyran Bowes has received an outpouring of affection from his castmates after sharing a heartfelt message about his on-screen family following their recent outing in Manchester.
Bowes, who plays Jack Webster on the ITV soap, posted a series of selfies on Instagram from the Inside Soap Awards 2026, which took place in Manchester last week. The event marked the first time the ceremony had been held outside London.
In the photos, Bowes posed alongside his on-screen auntie Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster), stepmum Sally Carman-Duttine (Abi Webster) and cousin Jonathan Howard (Carl Webster).
A decade on the cobbles
Bowes joined the Salford-based soap in 2016, taking over the role of Jack Webster from twins Jaxon and Maddox Beswick, who had played the character after his on-screen birth was portrayed by fellow twins Alex and Ellis Williamson. He has now spent a decade in the role, with Jack being the teenage son of mechanic Kevin Webster and the late Molly Dobbs, who died in the Weatherfield tram disaster.
Alongside his post, Bowes wrote: "They say you can’t choose your family, but I got lucky enough to be cast into a second one … having a TV family like this one makes me feel incredibly lucky #coronationstreet #corrie #lucky."
Castmates respond with love
Sally Carman-Duttine was quick to reply, commenting: "We love you!" Jonathan Howard echoed the sentiment, writing: "Love you mate." Fans also responded warmly, with one asking how long Bowes had played Jack, to which he replied: "Thank you I do. I’ve been in it since 2016."
The awards event saw Coronation Street dominate, winning nine of the 15 awards on offer. The wins were led by Best Actor Gareth Pierce (Todd Grimshaw) and Best Actress Vicky Myers (Lisa Connor-Swain). The show also took home the Best Soap trophy for the third consecutive year, along with Best Storyline, Best Partnership, Best Villain, Best Exit and Best Young Performer.
More than 110,000 soap fans voted in the 2026 Inside Soap Awards, which remain the only accolades of their kind awarded solely by viewer votes after three decades.
