Andrew 'throwing a fit' over Harry and Meghan royal return

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is reportedly furious over the Royal Family's attitude towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The former Prince, who was evicted from Royal Lodge and stripped of his royal titles, has been essentially banished from the family, never appearing at engagements or events with his brother, King Charles III.

However, the disgraced family member is reportedly keen to get back in and believes that he still has value as a royal, despite his ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his arrest earlier this year.

Fury over Harry and Meghan's welcome

With Harry and Meghan returning to the UK, and their July meeting with King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Andrew is apparently furious. An insider has revealed that Andrew is "throwing a fit" over Harry and Meghan reportedly being welcomed back by the family, even after criticising the monarchy multiple times in their Netflix series, their infamous Oprah interview, and Harry's 2023 memoir, Spare.

A source told Closer: "As usual, Andrew is throwing a fit and saying he’s being treated poorly by his brother Charles. His Majesty has helped him financially, but somehow, it’s still not enough."

Feeling hard done by

"For Andrew, though, this is about more than money; it’s about the total lack of respect he feels his brother and the rest of the family is showing him. The fact that he’s been punished and banished, while the red carpet is being rolled out for Harry and Meghan, has left him feeling very hard done by."

It appears as though Andrew believes his nephew Harry has harmed the monarchy more than he has, the source added. "He says he’s never put the family down the way Harry and Meghan have. He doesn’t understand how they can be forgiven for airing the family’s dirty laundry, and yet here he is, excluded and blocked when he’s never once set out to harm the family the way they’ve done."

"He accepts that he made mistakes in terms of his choice of his friendships, but he doesn’t feel it’s fair that he’s banished for the rest of his life while these two get to waltz back in."

Drift from Beatrice and Eugenie

Harry and Meghan were once close to Andrew's two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. However, they seem to have drifted apart over the past few years, with experts reporting that the sisters are remaining loyal to Prince William amid his rocky relationship with his brother.

Commentator Dan Wootton, who has been a long-term critic of Harry and Meghan, recently suggested that the pair have essentially been dumped by the Princesses. He was joined by fellow Royal commentator Natasha Cannell, who said the Princesses "know which side their bread is buttered".
