Traitors fans back Kenny after Acaster twist

Celebrity Traitors viewers are convinced that King Kenny will win the BBC show ahead of tonight's final (October 30), with many sharing the same prediction after James Acaster's dramatic confession.

During last night's tense Round Table, James Acaster announced he was indeed a Traitor. After his exit, he said he believes his departure will result in a "better" finale of the show hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

He commented: "With three Traitors, it would have been a foregone conclusion that we were going to win. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was hilarious at one point that we were just going to walk our way to the final and win the whole thing, but this is much better, isn't it?"

Fans Predict Kenny's Victory

Before tonight's finale, audiences have been sharing their views on the seven remaining participants and they think the champion is 'sealed', reports the Mirror. Fans believe that Maya Jama will be eliminated next after Michael Sheen pledged to reveal her.

However, the theory suggests that the actor will be murdered first, and the other Faithfuls will avenge his demise by banishing Maya. This could leave Kenny undetected, securing his triumph in the finale.

One wrote: "The thing is, if Michael Sheen gets murdered tonight- there is no conceivable way Kenny doesn't win." Another commented: "Kenny is gonna win."

A third fan remarked: "Kenny can win this on his own. They'll have to get rid of Michael (should do) which will probably mean Maya is next. Kenny only loses if Maya lands him in it."

Another wrote: "Looking like a solo win for Kenny," as one agreed: "Kenny is going to win." Another said: "Kenny solo win incoming."

Round Table Tensions

During Thursday's episode, Joanne McNally was banished prior to Sharon Rooney's murder. This was followed by another Round Table which saw James make his startling announcement after Michael turned up the pressure on him, questioning what truly occurred during Ross Kemp's murder in plain sight.

Some viewers believe James actually rescued Maya with his confession, as she had come close to being banished herself. Others feel he may have "ruined" the game for the entire group, potentially pointing the finger at his fellow Traitors.

Meanwhile, tensions reportedly ran so high during the Round Table that filming was halted and the welfare team stepped in to check on the celebrities. It is alleged that the episode required significant editing due to production being forced to pause when James became distressed as the strain became overwhelming.

The Celebrity Traitors is on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
