The Block's Dylan and Jenny Expecting Second Child After Show Heartbreak
The Block's Dylan and Jenny Expecting Second Child

Former contestants from the hit renovation show The Block have announced some joyous personal news, revealing they are expecting their second child. Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath-Adams, who became known as the show's 'biggest losers' in 2022, shared their happy update with fans via a heartfelt Instagram post.

A Sweet Seaside Announcement

The Gold Coast-based couple marked the occasion with a beautiful beach photoshoot. Jenny, 28, showcased her growing baby bump in a stylish halter-neck top paired with a lemon-coloured maxi-skirt. Her husband Dylan, 34, gazed adoringly at her as she held an ultrasound image over her stomach. Their two-year-old son, Billy, was also part of the sweet family moment.

"We've been keeping a little secret… BILLY'S BABY BROTHER OR SISTER INCOMING," the couple wrote in the caption of their joint post. They added, "We honestly couldn't be happier! Such exciting times ahead." The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from friends, followers, and former co-stars, which Jenny described as overwhelming.

From TV Heartbreak to Family Joy

The pregnancy news comes after a period of significant ups and downs for the pair. Their journey on the 2022 season of The Block ended in disappointment when their luxury Gisborne property failed to sell at auction and remained on the market for nearly six months. It eventually sold for $3.9 million, which was $180,000 below the reserve price, leaving them empty-handed.

Since their television stint, life has been far kinder. The couple welcomed their first child, Billy, in August 2024, 17 months after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort on the Gold Coast in March 2023. The wedding was attended by 150 guests, including several of their Block co-stars.

Property Profits Pave the Way

Professionally, Dylan and Jenny have also turned their fortunes around. Late last year, they demonstrated their renovation prowess off-screen by selling a Coolangatta apartment for a substantial profit. After purchasing the beachside property for $920,000 in January, they undertook a whirlwind nine-month renovation and sold it for $1.35 million. This successful flip netted them a tidy $430,000 profit, a stark contrast to their Block experience.

As they prepare to become a family of four, the couple's focus is firmly on their future and the exciting new chapter ahead.
