The Roundhouse in London transformed into a glittering hub of celebrity activity on Thursday evening as the ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards unfolded, with Ashley Roberts making a stunning exit in a barely-there gown that captured everyone's attention.
A Night of Glamour and Achievement
Hosted by the charismatic Danny Dyer, the prestigious event saw music legend Sir Bob Geldof honoured with a Lifetime Achievement prize, marking a highlight in an evening filled with celebration. Following the ceremony, stars began their departures, with Ashley Roberts undoubtedly leading the fashion parade.
The 44-year-old singer commanded attention in an incredible sheer dress that featured strategic black ruffles across her chest and waist to maintain modesty. Her blonde curly hair was elegantly styled in an up-do, complemented by a full glamour makeup look that included a dramatic smokey eye.
Fashion Takes Centre Stage
Ashley wasn't the only star turning heads with transparent fashion choices. Dani Dyer, attending to support her hosting father Danny, looked sensational in a glitzy black sheer gown featuring a corseted bodice and intricate bejewelled lace overlay. The strapless design showcased her legs through the delicate fabric, which she paired with sophisticated black and silver chain heels.
Her father Danny cut a dapper figure in a black satin double-breasted suit, complete with a sparkling brooch and aviator sunglasses, proving the style talent runs in the family.
Meanwhile, Jessie J made a powerful appearance in a racy mesh dress with corset bodice, marking her second consecutive night out after Wednesday's Royal Variety Performance where she'd embraced the Princess of Wales and spoken openly about her cancer battle. The Price Tag singer, who underwent a mastectomy earlier this year after her breast cancer diagnosis, radiated confidence as she posed for photographers, completing her look with stiletto heels and a diamante heart clutch bag.
Completing the sheer fashion trend, Louise, 51, sauntered out in a lacy pencil dress that revealed her black lingerie beneath. After walking the red carpet solo, the songstress was joined by her boyfriend Drew Michael, 41, as they departed together.
A Celebration of Musical Excellence
Throughout the evening, 14 awards were presented to artists, bands, actors and institutions that Rolling Stone believes "defined the year with their art." The ceremony concluded with a rare performance from The Cranberries' Noel Hogan and Royel Otis, who recently covered the band's iconic hit single Linger.
Among the notable winners was FKA twigs, who proudly held her Album Award for EUSEXUA as she travelled home in a taxi. Other major winners included Biffy Clyro for Live Act Award, Lewis Capaldi who received The Artist Award, and Wunderhorse who took home The Group Award.
The Breakthrough Award went to Myles Smith, while the newly established LIDO Festival won the Festival Award. The Cranberries received The Icon Award, and Jacob Alon collected The Play Next Award. Stranger Things actor Jamie Campbell Bower won the Television Award, and XL Recordings received The Record Label Award.
Other celebrities spotted at the star-studded event included Mutya Buena, Mo Gilligan sporting a black leather jacket and carrying a gift bag, and Danny Dyer posing with his daughter Sunnie Jo. Tom Allen, Myles Smith, Steven Frayne (aka Dynamo), Stranger Things actor Jamie Campbell Bower with Elena Taber, Danny Dyer with Steven Frayne, and musicians Mika, Henry Rowley and Ellis Howard were all in attendance, making the 2025 ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards a truly memorable night for the British music and entertainment industry.
