Stacey Solomon marked her 37th birthday on Sunday (October 4) while working on The Masked Singer UK, a role she previously described as her 'dream' job. The TV star, who also hosts BBC One's Sort Your Life Out, was seen arriving at the ITV show's set, where she was greeted with a birthday display.
Birthday Surprise on Set
Heading to her dressing room at The Masked Singer UK, Stacey was surprised with a birthday set-up. She shared with her followers: "Arrived at work to the cutest birthday set-up. Thank you @maskedsingeruk." She then posted a video of herself taking part in a photoshoot for her upcoming appearance on the show.
Stacey looked stunning in a little red dress, with her mousey blonde locks styled into curls. "First time I've dressed up for my birthday in decades I'd say," she joked. The mum-of-five explained: "If you're wondering what the heck I'm doing in these pictures - I'm trying to look confused."
Dream Job and New Roles
In addition to joining The Voice UK as a new co-host alongside Alesha Dixon for the 2027 series, Stacey will also appear on the next series of The Masked Singer as a celebrity guesser, joining comedian Alan Carr.
Ahead of starting filming, Stacey told her millions of online followers: "Starting a DREAM job today and trying to be cool about it, but I just can't. I am NOT cool. I'm geeking out to the max."
She later shared a video update, saying: "Got there with the kids and Joe [Swash] took them into the rehearsals because I'm not allowed in the rehearsals. We make our guesses, the first couple of times, off the back of a video, and then we see them sing for the first time, so I'm not allowed in the rehearsals..."
Joe Swash's Tribute
Stacey's birthday coincided with her daughter Rose turning five. Joe Swash, her partner, paid tribute to both on Instagram, sharing a picture of himself with Rose during her birthday celebrations and another alongside Stacey. He wrote: "Two birthdays and a whole lot of love. Happy Birthday Stacey and Rose! I hope your day is as special as you both are. Love you more than words can say."
Stacey also shared her excitement about the show, saying: "I'll tell you what did happen, though. Jonathan Ross brought me in some sweets, which was the cutest thing ever and they were so yummy. But it was another amazing day. You know when you just feel so lucky to be somewhere? And I'm having so much fun. I'm so lucky and it's just been an absolute dream..."
