Former Skins actress Megan Prescott now earns three times her previous income on OnlyFans, where she presents a climate change debate series while stripping. The 35-year-old, who played Katie Fitch in the Channel 4 teen drama, has collaborated with Adam McKay, the former Saturday Night Live writer and creator of The Big Short, on the adult platform.
Changing Minds on Climate
Remarkably, Prescott says she has persuaded some of her fans to alter their views on the climate crisis. “People are opening their minds and actually listening. I’ve never experienced trolls changing their minds before,” she said.
Her path contrasts sharply with that of her former Skins co-stars, including Kaya Scodelario, who is set to return in series two of Netflix’s The Gentleman, and Luke Pasqualino, who landed a role in Disney+’s The Rivals.
From Pub Work to OnlyFans
Prescott turned to OnlyFans during the COVID pandemic. Broke and out of work when she left the show in 2010, she moved back to Palmers Green, North London, and began pulling pints to make ends meet. “I do not come from money, I cannot rely on anybody else,” she said. “The moment I finished filming Skins, I went right back to work in a pub. I don’t think there’s anything to be ashamed of doing a job like that, and working hard for your money.”
She had only £300 before joining OnlyFans in 2020 and describes some people’s reactions as “interesting”. “I’d spent so many years in acting, trying to get things moving and nothing [was] happening. Going on OnlyFans and realising all this content that I was making for free, people would pay for and people would like to pay for, just changed my entire point of view and it really did improve my creative outputs,” she said.

Skins’ graphic depictions of sex, nudity, drugs and violence appear to have prepared Prescott for her new career. “Skins glamourised a lot of things that I don’t know should have been glamourised,” she said. Prescott also currently appears with comedian Freya Mallard on Race of Wits, on OnlyFans TV.
