Shirley Ballas Addresses Strictly Cheating Scandal on GMB

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has revealed she 'stays in her lane' when it comes to the show's scandals, following questions about Thomas Skinner's recent controversies.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Ballas was asked by Susanna Reid whether she feels a sense of responsibility amid the scandals that have hit the BBC show. Ballas responded: 'It doesn't touch the sides. It's baubles, bangles and beads for me. I stay in my lane.'

Ballas added: 'I am there to do a critique from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Coordination, synchronisation, beautiful personality. I don't get involved in anything.'

Thomas Skinner, known for appearing on The Apprentice, has been at the centre of a series of scandals leading up to the 2025 series. He reportedly stormed out of press interviews and snatched a journalist's phone, and it was revealed he had cheated on his wife Sinead shortly after their 2022 wedding.

Earlier this week, Skinner posted a furious tirade on X, vowing he 'won't be cancelled' and warning viewers not to 'start a war they won't win'. He wrote: 'Life ain't easy... I won't be cancelled. I ain't gonna kill myself like some of you want. I'm still here. I'm still standin.'
