Scarlett Moffatt’s younger sister Ava-Grace, who briefly appeared on Gogglebox as a child, has decided to pursue a career in archaeology instead of following her sibling into television.
The Moffatt family became household names after joining Channel 4’s Gogglebox in 2014, with Scarlett, her parents Betty and Mark, and occasionally Ava-Grace, who made her debut at age seven.
Scarlett left the show in 2016 to win I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, and the family was later dropped from Gogglebox in 2017. In a social media post at the time, Scarlett said they were “gutted” but would continue watching.
In 2024, on Ava-Grace’s 18th birthday, Scarlett shared an update on Instagram, revealing her sister is now studying archaeology at university. Scarlett praised Ava-Grace’s intelligence and humour, adding that she is “buzzing” to be able to join her for brunches now that she is 18.
Ava-Grace, who is 15 years younger than Scarlett, has clearly chosen a different path from the world of reality TV, focusing on her academic studies instead.
