Jersey Shore's Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola Marries Justin May in Lavish Ceremony
Sammi Giancola Weds Justin May in Star-Studded Jersey Shore Wedding

Reality television star Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola has officially married her fiancé, Justin May, in a lavish ceremony at a prestigious New Jersey venue. The couple, who welcomed their first child together in August, exchanged vows in front of family, friends, and several of their Jersey Shore: Family Vacation co-stars.

A Fairytale Setting for a Reality TV Wedding

The nuptials took place at the opulent Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in New Brunswick, New Jersey, as first reported by TMZ. This is the same location where Real Housewives celebrity Teresa Giudice married Luis Ruelas. With MTV cameras confirmed to be rolling, fans can expect the wedding to feature prominently in an upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

While many of Giancola's former roommates attended, it remains unclear if her ex-boyfriend, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, was present. Magro, whose on-and-off relationship with Giancola between 2009 and 2016 was often described as toxic, left the main cast in 2021. He did, however, attend the couple's gender reveal party earlier this year.

A Journey to the Altar: From IVF to "I Do"

The wedding marks a joyous milestone for the couple after a challenging path to parenthood. Giancola, 38, and May, 37, began dating in August 2021 and announced their engagement in March 2024. Their journey to start a family involved an arduous IVF process, during which Giancola suffered a devastating miscarriage, as she revealed on the show in November 2023.

Their perseverance was rewarded on August 20, 2024, when they welcomed their son, Vincent Keith May. Giancola announced her pregnancy in February, telling People magazine they were "just happy to have any baby." The couple celebrated with a gender reveal in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, in May, surrounded by the Jersey Shore cast.

A New Chapter for 'Sweetheart'

This marriage signifies a fresh start for Giancola, who has been open about leaving past turmoil behind. In a heartfelt Instagram post announcing her pregnancy, she called their son "the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for" after years of infertility struggles.

The founder of Sweetheart Styles and her new husband, a former bartender and bouncer, now look forward to their future as a family of three, with their wedding set to be immortalised for their legion of fans on MTV.
