The Traitors: Sam Little backs Rachel Duffy to win after being banished

Sam Little has backed Rachel Duffy to win The Traitors, describing her game as "phenomenal" after he was banished from the castle.

The account manager was voted off during Thursday's episode, with fellow Faithfuls convinced he was a Traitor. He told ITV's Lorraine on Friday that he was "blown away" when he discovered Rachel was one of the secret killers.

He said: "She's being mega consistent throughout, and it's really difficult watching it back and thinking 'How did I miss that?'" He added that he couldn't honestly say he would have accused Rachel of being a Traitor.

Sam's co-star Adam Waughman, who was murdered in the same episode, also praised Rachel, saying: "She's brilliant. What she does, she's got a really big following in there. People follow her around and I can see her going to the final."

At the end of Thursday's episode, Rachel and Stephen Libby shortlisted Jessie Roux, Faraaz Noor and Matthew Hyndman for the next murder. Matthew had earlier asked to join forces with the Traitors, but his history of betrayal makes him a potential threat.

The final of The Traitors is due to air on Friday, January 23, with the show continuing tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
