Traitors' Rachel Duffy Deserves Win, Says Banished Sam Little
Sam Little: 'Rachel Deserves to Win The Traitors'

Banished contestant Sam Little has declared that fellow player Rachel Duffy deserves to win BBC's hit reality show The Traitors, after her hidden identity was shockingly revealed to him following his own elimination.

The Jaw-Dropping Revelation

The 34-year-old account manager was sent home during Thursday's tense episode after receiving the majority of votes at the roundtable. His journey continued on the spin-off show Uncloaked, where he met fellow eliminated player Adam Waughman. It was there that the truth came out.

When Adam opened a card revealing the identities of the remaining Traitors as Rachel Duffy and Stephen Little, Sam was left speechless. "She deserves to win," he stated emphatically about Rachel. Speaking to presenter Ed Gamble, Sam admitted, "Rachel genuinely blew my mind. I wasn't remotely suspicious of her."

He reflected on her gameplay, noting, "At the start when she was so focused on Ross when everyone else wasn't, I thought, that can't be a traitor's play." In contrast, Adam confessed he had harboured suspicions about the Newry native, citing "the looks she gave around the table," but lacked the concrete evidence to act.

Viewers Baffled by Rachel's Invisibility

The episode left many viewers scratching their heads, taking to social media to express their disbelief that Rachel's name was barely mentioned during the pivotal roundtable. This was despite a clear warning from fellow contestant Harriet Tyce in the previous episode, where she directly accused Rachel of being a Traitor.

Harriet's caution proved futile, as Rachel did not receive a single vote for banishment. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) erupted with comments like, "Nobody even mentioned Rachel since Harriet did last night" and "The trust they have in Rachel just blows my mind." Others questioned, "Sorry how did Rachel not get a SINGLE vote since yesterday's drama?!" and "The game is now for Rachel to lose."

Jessie's Frustration and a Treacherous Pact

Some viewers pinned their hopes on contestant Jessie Stride, who has correctly identified Stephen as a Traitor and voted for him. They pleaded, "Everyone listen to Jessie!" Jessie voiced her exhaustion to the camera, frustrated that her concerns about Stephen were "totally dismissed." Stephen had earlier drawn ire by selfishly taking the only shield in a mission, costing the group potential prize money.

That mission, set in host Claudia Winkleman's eerie 'Cabin In The Woods' based on the horror film, saw the Faithfuls add £4,000 to the prize pot, bringing the total to £54,250. With only ten players left, the stakes are intensifying.

Meanwhile, the Traitors Rachel and Stephen decided to murder Adam Waughman—a risk that paid off as they didn't know who was shielded. They also made a crucial strategic decision, going back on a potential deal with Matthew Hyndman. Despite earlier agreeing to his proposal to murder Jessie and later seduce him, the duo decided keeping their original pact of loyalty to each other was safer than introducing a new, unpredictable element into the turret.

The game continues, with Rachel Duffy masterfully under the radar and one banished player firmly in her corner.
